I have been using CAD software for around 6 years. I first started in basic programs such as Tinkercad and Sketchup, but soon started to experiment with more advanced software when I was enrolled into the Advanced Technology Center. I first learned to draft by hand and after earning my NOCTI Drafting and Design Certification, I learned to use Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor. This is when I really fell in love with mechanical design and CAD. I soon moved into SOLIDWORKS which is my program of choice for most applications.
